Physiotherapy and ProBalance
Physiotherapy is the scientific analysis of movement patterns to people and
populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional
ability throughout the lifespan. It includes the treatment in circumstances
where movement and function are threatened by the process of ageing or that
of injury or disease.
The method of physical therapy sees full and functional
movement as at the heart of what it means to be healthy. Faulty movement
patterns and poor motor control of stabilization muscles is often the culprit
of chronic musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain. Numerous researches have
demonstrated that poor motor control can be re-trained through corrective
exercises.
There are large amounts of scientific evidence, which suggests the need of
incorporating exercises in the treatment of many musculoskeletal conditions.
Therefore at ProBalance out Corrective Exercise and Rehabilitation Program
has been designed to incorporated physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises
as part of our multidisciplinary approach to health care.
ProBalance has chosen to work closely with local physiotherapists in order to
provide the best care possible to maximize your treatment outcome.
